To AKP or other guru: I-140 redo

Thanks for your reply. Actually I asked my lawyer to redo my I-140. I have not received RFE yet. My question is, how could your lawyer file a new I-140 without original labor cert. INS requires orginal LC for the I-140 petition. My understanding is, your lawyer amended your old I-140 instead of filing a new I-140. Please let me know which case it is.

I don\'t believe you need the original LC to do another I-140. You can use a copy and mention in the cover letter that the original is anyway wuth INS as part of the first I-140. I also believe, INS can request for another original for the regional DOL office, should they so choose to verify its authenticity.
