I'm hoping for some input. I have qualified for a TN1 for a few previous employers in the U.S in the past as an Industrial Designer. I am going to work for a consultant and will be doing Industrial Design for his clients. A majority of my work will from my home office in Canada, but I will be making several short trips to the U.S to different locations to provide services to my employers clients.
First, I am convinced I would still working within the intent of the TN1. Would you agree?
Second, how do I get my TN1..I'm flying to the U.S in a couple of weeks, so do I apply at the U.S airport for my first layover? Should I drive to the Port of Entry I have used before and ask if they will issue my TN1 in advance of my trip.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
