My TN visa is coming for renewal in the next one month with same employer. Can i head to the border one month before renewal?

1-2 weeks is ideal. However, personally, I went 25 days before the expiration of my current TN. Didn't face any issues at the border

I think there is a change in quarantine rules from Canada side, please check before you are heading

thank you for your reply. I was just hoping to drive across at Peace bridge and turn around to the US side. Plus was planning to get the PCR test in hand as well. would CBSA be able to provide details

Check with CBSA once.. they should be able to provide details.. explain your situation in detail

I guess you should be fine if you have a negative test result in hand..

i did a flagpole couple of weeks before...mentioned CBSA and Public health..they asked me to keep a covid test in hand, entered Canada via Peace Bridge..asked the border officer where I can do a U-turn..re-entered US and got my new TN.

Its always better to your homework well.
