I am a Canadian Citizen live in Canada and I just got a job offer in US. Here is the issue:
I used to live in the US before under b2 visa and I tried to adjust status through sponsoring by US citizen but the application get screwed up due to domestic disputes that time I was detained by INS and releasesed on bond and my wife RE filed another petition for me. After my release, I decided to leave US,which was 14years ago, without attending a hearing or known the outcome of it and I am not sure what was the verdict. Now, I need to know am I still able to apply for a TN visa as normal canadian citizen without restrictions or I need to apply for some kind waiver even ? Am I gonna face a hard time with the customs ? Should I abondon this job offer and avoid entering US again or try my chances ?
