It is advisable to go before 2-3 weeks, 30 days may work, but ideal is 2-3 weeks.

thanks..as far i know they just stamp the visa of the start the date they day you apply..also the current visa is valid till date of expiry.

Do you mean TN "visa" (which only Mexican citizens would get) or TN I-94?
