Has anybody successfully applied for a TN visa at the Buffalo border? I'm a Canadian citizen and will be filing under "Engineer" category. My actual job title is "Software Engineer" which as of lately has been approved under this category without questions. But, I've heard of reports where border agents are scrutinizing it more and more. Also, I've heard of cases where visa was approved but entry was denied since the work was deemed non-essential.
Any data points here?
Edit: I am currently in US on TN for a different employer. Looking to switch jobs since current employer has given me a heads up on upcoming layoff (its a mass layoff).
