Hi,
I have heard that TN renewal through mail is much easier process than going through port of entry (POE). Is this true? and if so, how hard is through POE. Do they have more denials?
Last time i got my TN from POE and it wasn't that bad, but from what i have heard in the past, people have informed me that the officers really grind you in the interview for TN visa @ POE. Is this true? This will be my first TN renewal and i don't want to wait 4-5 months to get a renewal through mail. Nonetheless, if it is too hectic and if there are higher chances of being rejected through POE, then unfortunately i will prefer the waiting pd (mail-in-process)
What do you guys suggest?
My another concern is that my job is in other category than my degree. For ex, my job is in the IT sector (system analyst) and my degree is in Mathematics. Is this going to pose any problem in obtaining TN. BTW i didn't have any problem in the first time around getting TN. The officer didn't even ask even one question pertaining to my mathematics degree.
