TN for IT Contract Opportunity Question -- Urgent

Hi,

I am Canadian citizen and have TN visa. I got this as Computer Systems Analyst for a contract opportunity where an IT consulting firm sponsored the TN for a particular project with the end client. Now the project is getting over but the TN still has another 7 months validity. My question is, if I get another contract opportunity through the same IT consulting firm immediately after the current one, do I have to get a new TN even though the company that sponsored it in first place remains the same?

I am curious to find out how this works when a Canadian is employed full-time with a consulting firm where the client changes frequently. I don't think they need to get a new TN each time the client changes.

Please this is urgent. Early responses will be appreciated.

Thanks

All depends, what TN category you are under and are the job duties the same for every contract?
Did you have a line such as this in your TN letter:

"XYZ Consulting is employing <ou> for their client, <client name> to work on site at <client name> and at our, XYZ, offices."

If you specified the end client in the TN letter as above then the terms of your employment have changed and you need a new TN.

Thanks for the reply. The letter did have the client name and location. Could you please suggest the language the letter should have so that I do not have to get a new TN each time the client changes when the consulting company remains the same.

Appreciate your feedback.

Are you a Full Time employee of the consulting company?
Did you sign a "consultants contract" when you joined them?
If FT you work directly for the consulting company you can probably omit the client name and location without issue.
If you signed a "consultants contract" then you're stuck with having to get a new TN every time the client changes.
FYI, the contract title is your hint as to which you're hired as by the consulting company.
