Hello!
I'm here to clarify whether my TN status is correct based on my situation.
This hasnt been the first time I've loomed into it. I've talked to a couple of immigration attorneys , Ive been told my situation is legitimate, but I'd like one last opinion for reassurance.
In 2011, after losing my job at a US company. 2 ex-coworkers and I decided to start a business in graphic design in the US. Thus, I'm 33.3% owner. I commute to work each day from Canada into the US. My day to day has always been that of a graphic designer. I don't handle paperwork, I don't do invoices, or any other financials for that matter, apart from the initial signings. I file a W2, making me an employee of the company. As for the TN visa, the person that we named president signed my TN letter.
Are there any concerns with this setup?
