TN-1, employer got bought, do I need to reapply?

My company got bought by another company, does that mean I will have to get a new TN-1 from border? can I apply by mail?

All I know is, TN visas can never be applied for unless in person.

There are some issues concerning the TN about employer change status, I don\'t know if you\'re affected, but definately try to find out.

Actually once you have gotten your first TN you can get subsequence TN visas by mail from within the US. I know several people who have done this through lawyers.
