The following is the quote from my I-140 RFE:
"submit evidence that the beneficiary's foreign Bachelor of Science degree is equivalent to a degree from a U.S. college or University".

I have 2 degrees, my baccalaureate degree was "Bachelor of Agronomy" from a foreign university, and my masters was a Master of Science from a US university. Both degrees were the same major which is required by the LC.

Do you think that USCIS would be picky on my baccalaureate degree for "B. of agronomy". not being "B. of Science"? Would that be a potential problem?

Thanks!

More information about degree title

Thanks, UN. The following is more info. that helps you understand my situation:

Requirement in LC: Bachelor of Science in Plant or Forest Pathology;
My education: Bachelor of Agronomy in Plant Pathology from a foreign univ.(4-year program), and Master of Science in Plant Patholog from a US univ.

Like most of the US universities here, Plant Pathology is a program which is in the College of Agriculture. Back in the 80's, everyone graduated from our university (a foreign agricultural univ.) would be awarded a degree in Agronomy, instead of Science. For example, B. of Agronomy, Master of Agronomy, and Doctor of Agronomy, no matter what you were majoring.

Any advice? Thanks!
