Timing from the Detroit office

H! Everyone,
Apllied Buffalo office in Jan 2006. .
My case has been moved to Detriot office as on Dec 06. Anyone have any idea what month they are doing right now or How many monthes it will takes when they will contact u. Is it right time to do FBI fingerprint or not yet.

I applied to Buffalo in September 2005 and my case was transferred to Detroit on September 2006. I received the IA letter in early December 2006. Don't do the fingerprinting yet. They will ask for it. Do it then. Hope this gives you a timeframe.
