Is there a timeperiod before which PP stamping has to happen after I-485 has been approved. Does the GC card come automatically even if one does not go for PP stamping ?
No! there is no time line for PP stamping.
But the green card won\'t come automatically without stamping because they prepare a I-55 form and attach all your previous I-94s, EADs and pictures to it after stamping. That I-55 will never be processed if you don\'t go for stamping.
