Timeframe to file for I-140 after Labor Approval

What is the maximum timeframe available to apply for I-140 after Labor,thru perm,is approved. Some say that the I-140 got to be filed within 180 days of Perm labor approval.

I got my Perm labor approved in the middle of Dec 2006 and applied for I-140/485 concurrently On July 27th. In fact, i got my EAD,AP and FP printing appt. Will there be any problem in getting the I-140 approved. Pl advice.

Yes the time limit is 180 days ... however, you are good as the rule was enacted during July 2007.
