Time window allowed to submit passport

Does anyone know how long we have after OCI approval to mail passport for stamping? Will a delay of one to two months be acceptable, in case we need to make an international trip during that time...?

Hi,
It does not take much time to get the OCI card from embassy after it got approved. If at all possible, try to get it first then plan your trip. You have waited so long, and now you are delaying to get it although the light is visible at the end of the tunnel. Unless it is emergency trip, I would get the card first. Who knows what would excite those fickle folks at the embassy and screw-up your OCI card process. All the best.
