hi guys

MY MOTHER HOLDING A GREEN CARD NOW and she will apply for me for a green card i need to know exactly how many years it takes untill i can get approve & receive the green card
whats the maximum period and the minimum period of time ??? and by the way if my brother apply for me ( my brother holding a US NATURALIZATION) HOW LONG IT TAKES MAX & MIN ??/?

i am 21 years old , single

My parents became LPR on Aug 18, 2004. They applied for my greencard on Aug 19, 2004 (yep the next day). My I-130 was approved on Sept 20, 2004. Playing the waiting game now. According to USCIS website, they are processing April 2001 and when my parents applied the immigrant visa numbers were available for July 95 people (so almost 9 years i guess and that is only if they move with the normal speed...HAHAHAH this is the funny part). Now under dec 2006 visa bulletin, i just checked and it states that they are processing March 97. (again 9 years).

So to say overall, it would take about minimum 9 years if your mom is to apply for you right now, this year. If your brother petition for you, i would say around 11-15 years.

Buddy this USCIS system is very messed up. But then again, people are dying to immigrate to US so i can understand.
