Time to get the card

Hi All,

I had my interview in Delhi last week and I got into the US couple of days back. Did not face any issues during the entire process.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the card after entering the US? Does it depend on the port of entry?

I got my card in two weeks. But my wife who came along with me didn't get her card yet. BTW, I got 4 welcome letters from BCIS - two before the card and two after the card. Still waiting for my wife's card. So you never know when they will send. But 2 weeks is the normal time frame.

No real correlation to POE. Average is b/w 3-5 weeks unless there are problems with your pictures (i.e. excessive shadows, dull background etc.) . Good luck!
