Assuming an H1B transfer petition was filed with CIS under Premium Processing, does anybody know how many days will it take to get the fax receipt notice from CIS so that I can begin to work?
Not sure what you mean by fax receipt. You can call USCIS in about 2 weeks after you have mailed them your application and ask them for a reference number by providing your first and last name and other information if necessary! This should be good enough for you to start your job with the new employer.
And in about 4 weeks from the time you have applied you will get in mail a H-1B application receipt..which you can give to your new employer.
