Time to get Receipt Date or WAC number

My company had mailed the I-485 documents on 11-Feb-2003. They have submitted the personnel checks. The checks have not came to the bank yet.

Does any one know, How long it takes for INS to deposit the checks, to make sure that my process for I-485 has started.
and also any clue for time to get WAC number.
 
It depends on aplication types. Normally for I-485 it takes anywhere between 1 week to 1 month. But I have seen guys (in this forum) who got notice after three months.
