Time taken to file I485

Hi all,
I am in the process of filing I485/EAD/AP for me and my wife.I have sent all the documents to the lawyer's office ten days ago.They told me that it takes two weeks for them to create the draft forms and send it to me.After that it will take a week or more for them to file with the INS center.
Just wondering what's the normal timeframe in which the lawyers file the I485 from the time they received the documents.
Can u please kindly inform me.I this normal or it's just that they are overloaded with work?

15 days is a reasonable time that they take to send it out.
Again it depends on how overloaded ur lawyer is.

Thanks for the info.I am expecting that they will file it in 3 weeks.I took one week to gather the medical results and other documents.So looks like the whole process would take a minimum of one month to file it.Anything less can be considered lucky to get a good lawyer.
