Time taken for H1B stamping

Hi, I just received my 2nd H1B extension with premium processing in 10 days. Now, my questions are...

- How long does it take now a days to get it stamped on the passport?
- I send my passport for stamping and if I have to go to India for any kind of emergency, is there any procedure to get your passport back? If so how long does it take?
- Any suggestions on getting it stamped in India?

----------It is taking anywhere between 10-12 weeks to get visa revalidated.

---------You can send a fax and get your passport back within few days
- Any suggestions on getting it stamped in India?
--------Anyone else might be able to give you some suggestions on this.
 
i think getting stamped in india,chennai is the coolest thing, i took all docs as suggested and it took me less than a minute for the interview
