Time taken at Chennai consulate for dropbox applicants

Hi,

The consulate website says that it takes about 2 weeks for visa processing for drop-box applicants.

Can someone tell your experience on when you received ur passport after dropping it at TT Services.

My friend applied for his H1 revalidation using dropbox last week and would like to get an approx idea on when he can receive his passport

10 Days

A friend of mine applied through drop box for first time H-1 after being rejected on 221(g) during personal interview. He applied with additional documents and received it in 10 calendar days.

Here's my experience

My brother applied on feb 4th H1B visa revalidation.
Got 221(g) refusal (refused due to photo and nothin else) on feb 27th.
But the passport was sent back by the consulate only on march 10th.
reapplied on march 11th ....waiting.

Even if all and every docs are correct u can expect it to get in atmost 4 weeks. Just my experience.
