Time period for H1 processing

Can anybody enlighten me on how much time does it take for the steps for obtaining a H1-B visa extension?

1. Prevailing wage request is sent and obtained from the State Employment Agency

Time taken to complete this task?



2.Labor Condition Application is filed with the Department of Labor

Time taken to complete this task?



3. the actual H-1B petition is filed with the INS.

Time taken to complete this task?


I am in philadelphia and VSC would be my INS center.
 
The prevailing wage request can be obtained in a couple of days usually by faxing in the form and they return fax it to you. The LCA can be done online too and you can have it done in a matter of minutes, else also you can FAX it in and depending upon the waiting list (it is very low now) you may be able to get this done in a matter of a few days. The real waiting is with INS. At Vermont presently this is now about 3 months or more (their letter says 30-100 days processing time) . From posts here I found out it is taking at best 3 months, for somebody it is close to 4.
