Time of approval mails/LUD activity

Approx time of 485 Approval Email/LUD change

Just for the kicks, all those guys who got approvals recently or are seeing LUD activity, can you post the approximate time when you got the mail, saw activity? Could be generic like AM, PM, after 7PM etc.

I am trying to make some sense out of it instead of checking the status every 2 minutes during the day, which is driving me nuts! :rolleyes:

When you are dealing with USCIS/INS , pack your senses and stash it away. There is no sense or routine here. Just cross your fingers and hope for the best.
 
Carthick got the magic emails around 1:30PM EST. I will try and collect this info from all approved cases and post here. All guys who see activity or got approvals recently pls post.

Not trying to be critical, but I have seen you remind several people not to start unnecessary threads :) . I can understand your frustrations and anxiety and share the same, but just an FYI. Hope everyone completes their journey ASAP.
 
Hi Joyd

Today (Veterans day) I had a LUD change, so some activity must be going on at the USCIS today.

I also had a LUD change yesterday... that is a good average of one a day so far :)
 
Of course, logic doesn't apply when it comes to USCIS, I am just trying to better understand the times during the day when we can expect something. Sounds like they run some batch programs that send the emails, as we see mails outside of work hours.

I don't believe it's an unnecessary thread. I am trying to restore some sanity in my mind. I am sure, like me there are many folks who login to the USCIS case status website every now and then.

It might be a fruitful exercise, who knows.

Yes, I understand. I keep checking the site many times myself. I hope that all the exercises going on in this forum are fruitful.
 
When ever the data entry operator / IIO enters some information and changes message in the system, an email is kicked out in the next 15th whole minute increments. Lets say if the message is updated at 12:08 then an email is send out at 12:15, and if it is at 12:20 then an / two email is send out at 12:30. So the emails are send out every 15 minutes. I tracked about 229 cases for my ND and i have about 100 approved / transferred cases (pretty much everything) followed the same trend.
 
Hmm.....that doesn't make sense. For me the FP received msg changed at 7:45 in the morning, so somebody was working on my case at 7:30 am? Also, my 140 approval mails came after 7pm, and I know of ppl who got mails around 10pm too.
 
We received RFE response received e-mails for my spouse at 10.30 pm and for kids 11.15 pm
