Friends,
Could you please help me out with the following.
I am a DV 2008 winner, I am planning to enter US on end of March and my flight schedule (this is the only one that I can get) makes me land first at ORD [O'Hare Intl, Chicago] at 16:51 and have to take the next flight at 18:45 to my destination. Because of the abouve flight, I need to do the immigration processing at Chicago Airport. Could you guys (who have experience of landing at ORD) tell me how long it took for you to process. Because, I found somewhere in this forum that 2 hrs time in between flights could be a little short for immigration processing.
I tried taking a later flight, but there is none and I dont have any other alternative route that I can take easily.

Maybe it is too short, maybe not. Depends on how many other immigrants are in line.

There are so many local connections when you are in Chicago. After you enter POE you will be fine. If you miss your scheduled flight for connection, you will be booked on the next available flight when you report at the flight desk where you are scheduled to connect. So just relax.
Have a safe trip

My POE was O'Hare. The process was really quick, be sure to join the line for US citizens/Returning Residents. I was entering on an immigrant visa and was pointed to this queue.

Thanks for the valuable information guys!
Based on your suggestions, I have decided to change my flight so that I could have more than 3 hrs in between flights.
