I know it is too early to ask but i have a question regarding citizenship. I got my conditional Green card (as my wife is US citizen) in June 2005. I can apply for citizenship in June 2008 or 3 years from my permanent green card which i will get in June 2007.

I think the 90 day rule does not apply for the married case. Only for the 5 year case.

You can apply 90 days before your 3 year anniversary of being LPR, i.e. in March 2008.

Wrong. Here is an excerpt from instructions for Form N-400 http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/n-400ins.pdf:

"If you are applying based on five years as a Lawful Permanent Resident or based on three years as a Lawful Permanent Resident married to a U.S. citizen, you may apply for naturalization up to 90 days before you meet the ''continuous residence'' requirement. You must meet all other requirements at the time that you file your application with us."

It does apply for the married case.
But on the date that you apply (3 years - 90) days, you should have completed 3 years of marriage. For example if you got your green card 1 month after getting married (highly unlikely) then you would have to wait additional 2 months before you can apply.

Yes 3 years minus 90 days. I got my PR status in 2003 in Jan. I was allowed to file for my N-400 in Oct of this year, and my interview is set for Jan now. So I filed for the N-400 2 years and 9 months from getting my official PR status...

Yes, 3 years minus 90 days if, and only if, at that time, the person has already been married to the USC for 3 years. I.e. at 2 years and 9 months, you must have been married for 3 years. If the 3 year wedding anniversary is still one month away, you need to wait and file a month later, i.e. 2 months before the 3 year residency period has run.
