Time limit on 1st entry for 10 yr Multiple Entry visa?

Dear friends,

I'm trying to bring my parents (> 60 yr age). They got their 10 year multiple entry at Chennai consulate about 7 months ago.

Someone told me their first visit should occur fairly shortly after their obtaining visa. I'm really worried now that what is going to happen when they are ready to travel now?

Please help- and Please clarify this time restriction issue if that really exists.

There is no timelimit restriction. They can come at anytime even in the 9th year. Don't worry.

As long as the travel date is within the validity period of VISA, they are fine. Akuna matata!
