Time Limit for Travel on AP

Ladies and Gentlemen

Could any one of you let me know if there is some kind of limit on the maximun stay outside US while traveling on AP?

I remember mentioning some kind of timeframe, say 6 weeks, in the AP application for the stay outside US. Does anyone care about this at the port of entry?

You should be able to travel to and fro U.S. as long as the date on the AP has not expired prior to your return to the U.S.

AP has no relevance to "how long" you can be gone for. The only purpose it has is to let you back in to the US. AP is not for the purpose of tracking you when you leave the US
