Time it takes for Change of Address (Service Center)

My RD is 4/15/03. On Dec 2nd I moved to Baltimore hence submitted AR11 and also a notice to the local office in Atlanta informing them of Change of Address. Nearly 3 months later I find out my file is still located in Atl. Does anybody have any idea how long it takes for them to transfer files. Also my dilemma is that my EAD expires on 05/28. Where should I file for the renewal? Mine is a Family based petition via marriage to a USC citizen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Call up

Call the INS you filed your 485 and update change of address.
I called on feb 23 and got receipt from INS on march 5
 
My 485 is in TSC, I moved to California used AC21, informed INS Applied AR11 form . I am planning to move to a different apartment within the same complex.

As far as I know, We need to apply AR 11 and send a letter to change the address and CAll Service center and confirm change of address . ( Just to make sure I got it all covered )

Any other suggestions / experiences ...

I did call them up. Since my file is already at the local office they cant do anything about it. I guess for Family petitions in Atl all docs are mailed to the local INS office in Atl.

I guess the confusion is that when an application is filed with a local office no SRC or LIN etc numbers are issued. On the receipt that I got for 485 there is nothing but an A #. In the scenario how would one update the address. Everytime I call the 800 number they tell me to send another letter to the local office. Any help or info would be appreciated.
