Time in USCIS District or State

Situation:
1. On October 10, 2007 I will qualify to apply for US Citizenship.
2. My permanent address has been in California for the last 4 years
3. I am planning to be out of the country for 3 months (July 07 - Sep 07)
4. I would still continue to maintain my residence in California
5. Plan to return to the same residence on October 3 07.

Question:
Can I file my application for citizenship on October 10 as a resident of CA or do I have to wait for 3 months?
Would I still meet the "Time in USCIS District or State" requirement?

That's just a residence thing. If you keep your CA drivers license at the same address, then you are good to go.

Traveling/visiting other countries (for short periods) doesn't get in the way.
