Is it possible? I think if asylees remain passive here, USCIS will probably drag their feet and spend 5 years or more to clear the 180,000 backlog. I think USCIS have to publish a timetable that is acceptable to us, and we should probably include the validity and the processing time of RTDs in the new class action suit.
Does anybody have any contacts in AILF? Remember how long it takes for Ngwanyia v. Ashcroft to settle? So it’s in our interest to plan now, and hand them a new lawsuit the same day Bush signs the REAL ID bill. What do you guys think?
