Time between notice date to schedule date for 2nd FP

I am planning to go to India in the middle of this month for a time of 3 weeks. From other postings look like my second FP is just around the corner ( never know but possible). My wac no is 02-086-xxxxx).

How far away is the schedule date from the receipt of FP notice.

If they send the notices what are the chances that they update the online status?

Please post your experiences. This info will bevauable for me.

It seems to me that the schedule date is based on your WAC number.

People with wac-02-115 have it around mid Jan.
People with wac-02-130 have it around end Jan.
People with wac-02-140 have it around beg Feb.

I am WAC-02-140 and have it in first week of Feb, though notice date on 2nd FP is Dec 23.

My online status is not updated

The place of your residence might also be a constraint....

my 2nd FP ND is Dec 23rd but have the appintment in Atlanta ASC on Jan 15th and I am WAC-02-066-5xxxx

Generally, we can say they give atleasst 2-3 weeks before the appointment date from the FP notice date.

As you are going out of country, make sure that there is someone to check your mails and IF NEEDED fill out the lower portion for postponing the FP to nearest date available at the scheduled centre. (worst case).
