Wow, I'm a little happy now... I contact the USCIS National Service Center, and the lady told me that according to the data they got from my DO, my name check had been completed at the end of October (this year)!
My District Office is St. Paul... does anyone know approximately (like, a range of dates) how long it takes for them to finally decide on your case? I originally had my interview on July 11, 2006 and initially applied back in January 2006.
Any info would be appreciated. Also, for the oath ceremonies... they hold them monthly in Minnesota for various locations, but is it possible to get something like a "private oath" arranged if you need to have your citizenship sooner???
