Time between FP and Interview

I wrote to my senator last month to look into my case because I was not able to confirm change of address or correction of name on the application. His office wrote me on December 10th, saying the corrections had been made. Additionally, the special Congressional unit sent a note to the naturalization unit to schedule an appointment for me and I was informed that it may take up to 60 days due to backlogs. However, I just received a FP notice dated December 15th for a January 13th appointment!

How long does it usually take, especially in the DC/Norfolk offices, between fingerprint and interview?

bashar82, In the Baltimore DO, the average time from reading other threads has been about 3-5 months from FP to Interview.

Applied: 12/13/2004
