Fined overseas - Please help

Hi all,

I am getting ready to apply for my naturalization next month and have a question about my tickets/fines. I will be listing down all the traffic violations in the form, and I have records of all of them. However I was fined for not carrying an id with me when visiting some place in South East Asia (I guess that country required EVERYONE to carry ids) about 16 years ago. I can't even remember the fine amount, but it wasn't much at all.

I asked an immigration attorney if I should include that in my application. She did some research and told me that I did not need to (she's not my attorney; I just paid her a consultation fee). I do not have any records of that fine, and have been unsuccessful in obtaining any information about it (it's not exactly a first world nation). Some of my friends told me that the country does not keep records of minor fines like that, especially since it was such a long time ago.

I would appreciate any suggestions or comments. Thanks. :)
