Three times a charm !! Approved finally

Today ends a long journey.

Came to US in 1997 on student visa. Graduated in 1999. Joined an employer in seattle. This employer had a pre approved labor. 140 was approved, but company got sold to another company and got laid off. Joined another employer in 2001. Started Labor in april 2001. Got laid off in jan 2003.(That labor is still pending :D :D ).

Then joined a group of friends to form a small company and started Labor in Iowa in Feb 2003. Labor was approved in one month. And filed 140/485 in september 2003. Got RFE on Feb 14th. Responded by March 11th. EAD was also applied for at the same time. Got EAD approved on April 12th, 2005. So gave up hope n 485 approval.
I did not check status today - and Voila !!! I have the approval.

So in my 3 rd attempt I could get the approval. Thanks for the help from this forum and best of luck every one !!!!! :D

congratulations. Can give your 140/485 ND dates. I'm too from Iowa { Des moines }. My labor applied in March and 140/485 on sep 22 2003. I'm waiting to hear my 485. I hope your's will be EB2. since you got approved and also said that you got masters from US. if you are from Desmoines and from India hope we might be knowing each other.

MY 140/485 ND is 09/28/2003 (RD 9/25/2003) (Concurrent)
Labor priority is EB2 and PD is Feb23, 2003.

Plastic_card - I am not from Des Moines. But the company's registered head quarters is in Cedar Rapids. So we probably did not know each other before. But we know each other now :)) BUt I am sure you should get yours pretty soon.

Thank you. I hope I will hear some thing by next week. Since your PD is of Feb 2003 and mine is of March 2003 EB2. So I might hear ina week. Hope this come true.
