INS is worse than the babu's back home. Atleast there were ways to make files move. Now there is nothing but a big black hole!
I doubt if anything is going to change for some time in the future. It is a pipe dream to expect anything else.
I expect there to be a spurt in approvals until the dam dries up completely for some time. Just like the Labor certifications after 245 (i).
There were a couple of guys who applied for the labor in June 2000, and still haven't made it through DOL! So I guess we are lucky to be waiting for AOS and not labor, if you want to look at the silver lining. If at all there is any security in this GC process, it is the AC21 which kicks into effect 6 months into AOS. Plus the EAD etc. So smile people!
