I think if you have a master degree then you should be EB2

Did any of you call INS for FP status?

For my case, FP was received by INS 7/19/01.

Hi Pavel,
You can check the supporting documents of I-140 to see the degree of preference of your employment based petition. As Dentyne said, its usually EB2.

Is it possible to check the FP status? I called INS (949-831-8427) and the officer said the FP have been received from FBI but we don\'t have access to check the status.

AmanAshraf, when did you call? I called yesterday and today, both officers said cannot access system to check FP, I mean they didn\'t even let me know if my FP has been received or not!
