Thousand Islands landing?

I am planning to land though Thousand Islands NY/ONT border on US thanksgiving weekend. I saw in discussion forms that few people have problems with Detroit/Windsor border. They ask lot of questions.

I am wondering does anybody have Thousand Islands NY/ONT border landing experience.
