I would like to hear from people with similar experiences.
I had my GC interview on May 25, 2006 at Atlanta Office. It was all ok, but as my A-file was lost by BCIS, the officer would like to review the temporary file from Vermont office. Recently I called 1-800 line and was told that my temp. file was received by Atlanta Office and i should give them 6 month.
I am pretty upset since I am not the one who lost papers. And also i date a military person who will not be able to marry me until i get my citizenship. It all tears me apart. I wish i knew what i could do. I already contacted my senator and wrote a letter to the PResident. I wish i could sue BCIS for putting me through all that (especially considering that my AOS is based on VAWA).
