Will you be kind enough to make a token contribution of $25 to immigrationportal.org ? This is too small an amount on such a happy occasion. Your contribution helps other sufferers to find a way out as early as possible.
Can we follow this norm from today ? It's a request :)
Good luck to all those who feel that they are at the threshold of getting the GC. For me i am at the threshold of getting 2nd FP (that's what i am foolishly thinking :p )
 
dsatish, it would help to find out how many active users are visiting the 485 issues forum. I am a little concerned about the number from the poll in the thread:

There are only 82 responses. That is a very low number.

Can the operations folks (or moderators) get this number and publish it?
1) How many unique registered users visit 485 issues forum? By service center forums?
2) Number of guests visiting 485 issues.

Moderator or administrator can't give much info on active users because it's difficult to determine active users. The previous version of vbulletin used to give the number of current visitors in the forum at any given time. Based on that observation, at peak times you can expect about 150 people in CSC forum (and about 200 in VSC forum, about 100 in other forums). But then there are a lot of unregistered people (guests) all the time. So the currrent active visitors can be anywhere between 1000 to 5000. Yes, it's a wide range, too difficult to guess. Last year when we have prepared a petition, about 3000 people have signed it, but then a lot of them are husband and wife. Again 3 months, when Rajiv has asked people to sign in support of class action lawsuit, about 1300 people have signed, most of them i guess , have signed alone (excluding wife). If you are looking at the numbers from fund collection point of view, it will be great if we can get 500 people contribute. So far approximately 150 to 200 people have contributed.
