Visa numbers/Cut off dates for OCT -2005

EB3 -- World 1-Mar-01

-- India 1-Jan-98
-- Mex 1-Jan-01

EB2 loosing it current status to cutoff...
Taking the case of India ... what does that date 1-Jan-98 would mean ...
Are there guys who's 485 is pending, from PD 1-Jan-98 and earlier...

The whole thing does not make sense ... but what happens if it is true .. some of the EB3 might have to wait years even to file the 485.. No wonder USCIS has come out with the idea of extending H1b by 3 years instead of just one year(7th year).

Where did you get this Dates and information?
 
The dates follow no Logic

Yes -- the dates do not make any logics... Jan 98 simply cannot be true...

Its either one of the following -- my guess -- and hope that's correct.

1> Web guy at Manila messed up the dates -- confused the employement based dates with family based dates.

2> Manila web site is hacked.
