So, after the 6/15 CIS processing time report for both TSC and NSC centers, the I140 is retrogressed back in months and even years.

What is the most reasonable/logicial reasons for this? Except this is purely a clerical errors (I really hope so but I highly doubt it)

Option 1 - my personal guess is...that the report got published incorrectly by USCIS.....and USCIS may offer explanation clarifying the same....

Guys - whose I140 is not approved...may be in little trouble...

Option 2 - If USCIS published it correctly, I140 dates are an embarassment for USICS and USCIS should kill itself for it......all the backlog reduction success is the biggest comedy....

If 485 /EAD /AP processing dates are correct then....
2a) USCIS finally admitted that processing times for 485 should be 3 months and not 6 months (clearly pointed out by CIS Ombudsman report)...so at least USCIS is working towards the goal of reaching 3 months...by publishing 4 months processing time now

2b) EAD - who cares about processing times? One can always go, and get interim EAD after 90 days...

2c) Advance Parole - who cares? If you have an emergency, one can always do Infopass and speak to the representative and get an emergency AP..

2d) If USCIS is meeting it's goal of 4 month processing time for 485...WHY SHOULD USCIS WASTE IT'S TIME TO OFFER INTERIM BENEFITS (485/AP)?? IT'S SMARTER TO DEVOTE RESOURCES IN ADJUDICATING 485 faster than EAD/AP

SO BOTTOMLINE...if the USCIS report is true....IT MEANS GOOD NEWS FOR ALL..

My first attempt of my I140 get denied due to poor lawyer services. And therefore, I am lacking the original LC to file for PP no more for my second attempt. So, if indeed the I140 processing time is not a joke, then I am cooked for another year and a half. So, this is not good for everyone. But I appreciated your input.

USCIS is shameless

In a letter dated 7th June, Dallas field office of USCIS says "Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision within 90 to 120 days of the date of this letter"
This means the new target for processing I-485 is 90 to 120 days even for the case for which name check is cleared, Finger printing done 3 times; Interview completed more than 600 days ago and was just waiting for visa numbers to be available!
In a Customer Information Receipt given during Infopass on June 12, they say " Your case is currently under review with an officer as of 5/17/2007. Please allow 90 to 180 days for any further action.

USCIS is totally shameless when publishing processing dates:mad:
