This Name Check thing ....

Seems like a bogus stuff. Here is my way of thinking.

I file from, say Baltimore to VSC. My name does not matter if muslim or not. My application goes to VSC and case is trasferred to Balto Office. My Fp and interviews are done and the oath is the same day as interview.

Same case with New Jersey. Now come to Chicago land or midwest. The oath is pending. But in LA and CA the oath is 15 days from the interview date!
Does not the USCIS know that my name is so and so sounding and initiate a name check immediately after receiving my application?

There are two possibilities. They do initiate. FBI and other agencies are taking months to tell me if they can find my name in their database? And this is high tech age? So somebody in USCIS or in agencies that do check is simply putting all the application under his ass and sleeping. Or the second case is that, the USCIS does not do anything till the last moment. Why bother? I am a govt employee. First 3 hours of the day we scratch balls and do nothing. So start working at 11 AM but definitely leave by 4.45 PM.

So my name is Md. bin Tuglak. Yeah so what? Md is a problem. So check the name. There will be a million Mds in the world. fine now check 'bin' and see if there is a connection between me and the other infamous terrorist. Now all the mist clears up if you know that these checks can be less than a day's work. Or say at least 1 week per person. No?

I think the Tuglak name suits USCIS guys nicely because of their acts and confusion in which they keep us. The other big joke is that, ladies are granted quicker. They seem to pose less threat to anyone. May be if a lady is involved in terrorist acts, then the lines grow longer than ever before.

This whole namecheck thing looks like a joke to me. May be I don't understand this but definitely USCIS should inform people of what is happening. They just cannot keep you waiting forever. Your ideas?

Its a good move , butis badly implemented and very poorly supervised & managed. Noone is accountable for anything
