Updated 01/10/03: INS 485/Citizenship Adjudication Halt Lifted!
People who visited the INS Online Case Status Check yesterday must have noticed that the INS had resumed adjudication of 485 cases and naturalization cases. This is also confirmed by the AILA that it received a notice from the INS HQ that the halt had been lifted. What a terrific news!
It is expected that a large number of cases be approved at both District Offices and Service Centers in the coming weeks. Please keep checking status of your case online!
Since I just spent $120 to renew my EAD yesterday, I should see my approval soon.....maybe I'll stop payment on the check....
