Everyone pls. take a moment to read this post:

what an outrage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had the user not stayed on his/her case, NO ONE would have realised even why his/her cse was stuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For all you know our cases are just lying there dead in a box

People at USCIS have no system in place.
One IO quits n his/her workload is not redistributed?????????????

No wonder its taking forever to get approvals.

Folks pls. stay on your cases and raise as many serv. req. / write letters to CM / FL Senators as possible.

It's our life and don't let USCIS / lady luck paly any part in it.
No point in trying to analyze the sequence of approvals.

Pls. share your thoughts.

You guys tell what to do

THAT IS USCIS.....Whatever they like..they will follow......that's it.....no matter what we think.........

Hi All,

I read this post and I have a question for you guys. I have been stuck in name check since the last 15 months. I wrote to senators, congressman, FL everyone. I recieved letters from FBI director Mr. Hardy and Director Namecheck Division Mr. Cannon that my name check is in process and will be submitted to USCIS as soon as possible. Well, I recieve another letter through my congressman this Monday that is a new notice for applicants stuck in namecheck from USCIS. They say nothing can be done since they haven't recieved the namecheck results. Its not unusual to get stuck in name check. They screen the pending cases weekly to see if there is an update on them. Interestingly, I am again told not to call for another six months and let their personnel do some constructive work rather than wasting time in sending answers to SR. This letter was from Assistant Director, TSC. Now tell me what to do. If I write to someone else only President BUsh is left I have no hope from them. I am scared this will have an adverse effect on my case.

I just don't understand this USCIS mess. I have given up.

Thanks

Your congressman may have directed his query at USCIS. This would not help as USCIS expects FBI to give them the results.

Feel free to write whoever you want but ask them to inquire FBI rather USCIS. This way your case would not have any adverse affect.

Again all that may be useless as one it is in that hole no one knows how it gets out of that. People say writing letters help and in few cases it may have helped but to me it just sounds like sheer coincidence.

Rollingstone : Any point in having a Petitin signed and submitted to President Bush and also to FBI namecheck and USCIS ?

If we can get say more than 10k signed and sent it may create some awareness.
