The DHS has released statistics concerning asylum applications from 2006. It appears that citizens of China were number one in terms of getting asylum status granted.

Last month the British Government also announced that Chinese filed more asylum applications in the UK than any other nationality.

This is a super sad statement about the state of affairs in modern China. Thanks to Monster Hu Jintao for continuing to destroy the once majestic Chinese civilization.
 
Not to be antagonistic but... just playing devil's advocate. Statistics can be spun to support an argument. Given thats statement, contemplate this...

Consider the fact that China has 1/3 of the entire world's population - over 2 billion people. America has over 330 million. so sheer/total numbers will be higher than most other countries based on probability. If they did a per capita or percentage of the population seeking asylum vs. other nations and it was on top, perhaps that may have a more profound meaning.

Again, just playing devil's advocate... China could very well have a super sad state of affairs for all I know.

What's sad about it? You guys multiply like rabbits. Most of Chinese immigration cases are fake sterilization stories from remote parts of China. I wish they were real actually - the government needs to control the population growth one way or another.
