This is confusing.. No approvals unitl October????

I read the state bulletin aout no issuance of visa numbers for EB categories until October.

what's the chance of anyone I485 being approved if only 60,000 visas again become avalable on October when PDs re current??

And what will the TSC officers assigned on I485s do in these 3 months.. go on a vacation??

I would agree with that analysis in that USCIS deemed many cases to be approvable, and hence requested the Dept of State for visa numbers accordingly. However, USCIS hasn't been able to work through all the cases and generate approval notices/update online status/etc.

Because of the July visa bulletin update, USCIS will not be receiving any new I-485 cases till Oct '07. This will give them plenty of time to run through all the cases they thought they could approve.

It's just that those approvals can't come soon enough!
