My wife's I485 derivative applicant USCIS online case status
changed to

This case has been received from the State Department
with a request we review it.

Why would State Department come into picture.

What does it mean do some have any clue.

Today my I-140 case status changed to

This case has been received from the State Department with a request we review it.

My I-140 was already approved a year back and my I485 is pending.

Did you ever found out what this message means?

I am in the same situation, my 140 was approved year ago and today I received the email stating the same exact message,

"This case has been received from the State Department with a request we review "

Can you please tell me what happened to your case? Why the status got changed now? My 485 is still pending..
