Hi all,
I am new user to this website. Recently got my canada PR. I am seeking assistance from those who recently landed. My problem is that I can not stay in canada for more than 1-2 days. But what I have heard from some friends (who already got their PR card sometime back) that it is better for me to stay their for few days and should return only with PR card (because my paper will have 'NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL' stamp on it) because sometime you might have errors on your PR card.
Please tell me if there is any way I could manage to complete all formalities without having any chaos.
Appreciate all help .....
Regards
Ranvir

Hey Ranvir,

Could you please tell us when you received your medical paper, when you did the medical, when you recieved the letter that asked for passport and when you got the landing paper???

Thanks in advance,
Shamim

Hi Shamim,
I received my medical instruction in August 2002, did my medical in Sept first week. Got letter for paasport stamping in October 4th week. Received it back in November 2nd week. So I have to land before September 2003. But since I might go to India for long stay after 2-3 month, I want to get it done now.
Hope this answers your every question.
Thanks
Ranvir

Hello ranvir_usa

You can come back withing two days .. but u dont get ur PR card within 2 days. So in PR card give ur friends address.
1) for PR card ,if u r landing first time they will mail ur PR card to ur friends address.if you provide his/her address

2) Also Apply for SIN card .. and provide the same address and mention them u will collect it from them, once u come completly

3) for health card . you should provide ur lease documents as evidence then only u r eligble

good luck and safe journey

Hi canus_immi,
Thanks for detailed information but my question was that if I come back in 2 days (with stamp of 'NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL' on immigration papers) and if there are some errors with my PR Card (bad picture, spell mistake etc), how will I enter again to canada?
Thanks
Ranvir
